Lamps, Lamps Lamps and more Lamps.

This is a picture of a person who has received understanding of the word of God.  Picture that for a moment.  I’m thinking about the praying lamps – the grandmothers, and or mothers who usually sit on the first two rows of any church.  Meditate on that but seeing beautiful lamps positioned perfectly trimmed with colored hats that represent lamp shades to tone down the light for the edifier – the pastor and or the teachers on Sunday’s.  (smiles)

After this write-up, I hope that you no longer see another seasoned believer the same; I pray that your spiritual eyes will see them as lamps, ready to embrace, for you see them;  some, the lamps are like the measures of a light bulb – 30 watt, 60 watt, 70 watt, 100 watt, 200 watt, and even 500 watt, but there is a light and some, the lights are shining brighter than bright.  At the same time, you can see lights that need to be changed, though the light bulb has burned out over time and need to be replaced or even upgraded for better brightness.  That would be the studying of the word of God.

There is a scripture that will better embrace my point regarding “Lamps” shining everywhere.  The scripture is Psalms 119:105 says,

Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.

You see, once I understood that the very scriptures I and you read daily are lamps, and when revelations is given by the Holy Spirit over and over and over and over again in my and your lifetime, it is light to your path.

Can you know fact,  that nature light shines forever because of the word in which nature is created to be as created, that hears and sees, that is never darkened by the seasons….Nature brings enlightenment daily….

You see, this will eliminate those who enjoy putting your light out so that they can shine brighter than the person they’re assaulting or embarrassing or gossiping or shaming publicly and privately.  It actually puts their light out or it dims it over time for it to be changed for a newer light or brighter light bulb the educating a better understanding of His word. If that makes any sense?

The word is also seed, which is Jesus and He can not be destroyed because the seed or the lamp has been revealed which is the path.

Now picture that concept in a seasoned believer which is not determined by age, race or any demographic measurements. It is determined by a thirsty and a hungry soul that is longing for a brighter way of life.

You future is bright, accept that, it has been confirmed and made true.

Have a wonderful week!

The Beatitudes

He said:

3“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,

for they will see God.
9Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
10Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

One of the great things about the word is that it speaks to you regarding you.

Today I would like to share with you the Apostle Paul writings in Galatians 4:21. Here is where Paul speaks about two covenants in reference to Abraham who is the “Father of Faith”.

The word said that Abraham was in two covenants within his house. It said that Abraham has two sons; one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman. It states that the one son of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh. You know the story in Genesis. It said that Sarah, Abraham wife became impatient while waiting on the promised son God said would bless nations as many as the stars. Abraham and Sarah operated out of the flesh obtaining a son Ishmael, one of the fruit of the flesh that is written in Galatians 5:19.  They are: 1. Adultery 2. Fornication 3. Uncleanness 4. Lasciviousness 5. Idolatry 6. Witchcraft 7. Hatred 8. Variance 9. Emulations 10. Wrath 11. Strife 12. Seditions 13. Heresies 14. Envying’s 15. Murders 16. Drunkenness 17. Revellings.

What are the type of the fruit of the flesh did Sarah and Abraham acted upon from the list?  1. Adultery – Abraham was under a new covenant of grace and he formed a covenant with law to receive a promise which was not a promise. 2. Fornication – He was in covenant with another person. 3. Envying’s – Later became an issue in Abraham house with the two sons. Sarah had to demand Abraham to put Hagar & Ishmael out because of the conflict it caused the promised son Isaac.

The verse continues — and he of the freewoman through promise, which things are symbolic. The freewoman through promise are the fruit of the spirit. They are: 1. Love 2. Joy 3. Peace 4. Forbearance 5. Kindness 6. Goodness 7. Faithfulness 8. Gentleness 9. Self Control.  It says that against such things there is no law (flesh works operating)

What are the type of the fruit of the spirit did Abraham ignored from the list? 1. Love 2. Forbearance 3. Faithfulness 4. Self Control

I enjoy reviewing the book of Galatians often.  It maintains the awareness that we live under a new covenant of grace, faith, and love in Christ Jesus.

Sonya Buchanan/ 10:30 pm

Below are the explanation of the fruit of the flesh in detail.

Adultery [one person married but having sex with someone else] lust of others spouse; indulge illicit lust; giving yourself to illicit sex without payment; gratify illicit sex of the homosexual or the heterosexual; provoking incest; unfaithfulness to God.

Fornication [having sex and not being married to each other], between the unmarried or married; indulge unlawful lust; illicit sexual practice with payment as in prostitution; illicit sexual practice of either sex; lust in the heart.

Uncleanness [morally impure, evil, vile, unlikable], whatever is opposite of purity; having evil thoughts and/or actions. God says that homosexuality, bestiality, and all other forms of sexual perversion render a person unclean.

Lasciviousness [indicating sexual interest or expressive of lust or lewdness], promiscuous, not the act of fornication but everything leading up to it. Like a guy who is a skirt chaser or a woman being a tease. Being improper in your actions and your communications or going around scantly clad in order to induce impure or lustful thoughts and feeling toward you from another person.

Idolatry [the worship of idols, excessive or blind adoration, reverence or devotion to anything other than God], anything dethroning God. This includes praying to saints and statues hoping that god will hear you through them.

Witchcraft [practicing magic using demonic powers], Greek: pharmakeia, (This word gives us our English word: Pharmacy) sorcery, practice of dealing with evil spirits; magical incantations and casting spells and charms upon someone using “magic potions” and drugs of various kinds. Enchantments were used to inflict evil, pains, hatred, sufferings, and death. Or even “white witchcraft” used with good intentions to bring goodness, health, love, joy and other blessings. If the power is not coming from God, then it is technically witchcraft and only bad things will come of it.

Hatred [intense dislike or hostility], lack of regard for another. Bitter dislike and ill-will against anyone; tendency to hold grudges against or be angry at someone; wanting to hurt them.

Variance [conflict, arguing, fighting] not agreeing when you should; a quarrel, being difficult to deal with.

Emulations [resentment against a rival, a person enjoying success or advantage], to copy another to equal or surpass; jealousy as with malice [intent to harm]. Striving to excel at the expense of another; seeking to surpass and outdo others; unbridled rivalry in religion, business, society, and other fields of endeavor. Ice skater Nancy Kerrigan getting hurt by Tonya Harding’s crew back in 1994 is a good example. That event led to the eventual ruin of Tonya Harding’s career. She reaped what she sowed.

Wrath [vengeance or punishment as the consequence of great anger], fierceness; Determined and lasting anger as in getting back at someone for a perceived wrong doing.

Strife [struggling in opposition], Contest for superiority or advantage for selfish gain; not as in playing a game or in a healthy sporting competition. The sport of wrestling is a good example of healthy strife. Strife is not always physical, it can be metal using words like in a religious or political debate. Where it becomes a work of the flesh is when the intention is to hurt the other either physically or mentally or emotionally. Like I tell my kids, “It’s all fun and games till someone starts crying.” That’s when hatred and wrath usually kick in!

Seditions [rebellious disorder]; causing trouble. Stirring up strife in religion, government, at work, home or any other place.

Heresies [divisions in religious communities], The word itself has no evil meaning. It simply refers to a doctrinal view or belief conflicting with the recognized and accepted tenets of a system, church, or party. It becomes a work of the flesh when the heart behind the division is to cause trouble, hurt people or raise ones self up in importance over another. Heresies become evil when sound bible doctrine is rejected and a false doctrine is taught in place of the truth.

Envyings [close to jealousy, a feeling of discontent or covetousness with regard to another’s advantages, success, possessions], ill-will, spite, jealousy; thinking a person is not worthy of having what they have, because you feel you are more deserving.

Murders [the intentional killing of another human being], or organized slaughter. This includes being involved in a murder even if you are not directly responsible for the death.

Drunkenness [intoxication, in this case alcohol but can include any mind altering drug], Excessive drinking or drug use to the point that you diminish or even lose good judgment and self control. Excessive drug use is widely known as the fast track to self destruction and it deeply hurts others who are involved.

Revellings [partying hard, indulging in loud boisterous festivities for no apparent reason], the letting loose of inhibitions and good judgement, getting roudy or going on a drunken rampage; also involves rioting.

What Will Happen to You If You Eat 20 Almonds Every Day?

John 16:13 says, However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority (people does speak on their own authority at times), but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. (14) He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. (15) All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore, I said that He will take of Mine and declare to you.

The verse,  for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak” takes me back to the first 3 chapters of Genesis, the history of creation.  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. It’s that part in Gen 1:2, The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. “And the spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.” The God spoke, let there be light and there was light.  I believe the Spirit Repeated Gods words as earth created according to the testimony of God declarations.

I have always said that when ever strange things that cannot be explain in the natural, it can be explain in the spirit by the revealed word of God.  And what is the Word:

So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. Romans 10:17

So this blog post will be talking about Absalom, the self appointed wanted to become king over Israel, King David son from the book of 2 Samuel 13:1-19:8.  I will not go into a long deep write-up but I will talk about some obvious manifestations of the character at hand.

Who was Absalom? Absalom was the older brother who killed his brother Ammon for having relations with his sister Tamar.  After Absalom killed his brother Ammon he then flees from the family of King David’s house.

Later Absalom returns to his fathers King David land.  Then somehow Absalom formed a friendship with King David counselor Ahithophel.  Absalom and Ahithophel plotted to kill King David and give the people and position to Absalom.  The position of King after the reign of David follows over to Solomon – the Father of Wisdom.

2 Samuel 17:1-4

1 Ahithophel said to Absalom, “I would choose twelve thousand men and set out tonight in pursuit of David. 2 I would attack him while he is weary and weak. I would strike him with terror, and then all the people with him will flee. I would strike down only the king 3 and bring all the people back to you. The death of the man you seek will mean the return of all; all the people will be unharmed.” 4 This plan seemed good to Absalom and to all the elders of Israel.

Who was Ahithophel? Ahithophel was the counselor of King David and a man greatly renowned for his sagacity. At the time of Absalom revolt, he deserted David and espoused the counselor of Absalom.  Ahithophel and the consequences of an unforgiving spirit.

Both Absalom and Ahithophel is a renegade spirit that used pretense in order to fulfill its diabolical operations.  It is designed to undermine and destroy purpose, potential, and the influence and authority of men and women who hold strategic positions in the kingdom of God. Transferring loyalty from one person to another, its manipulation plan is to divide and conquer.

How do you defect this action? You submit completely to God, integrity, purpose, timing of the Lord, and being a heart of a servant by walking in humility, wisdom, peace, divine truth and most of all prayer.  Also, you believe what God has spoken to you.  David and Bathsheba, the kings wife was made a promise by the Lord your God that their son, Solomon would be the next king. (So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. Romans 10:17)

1 King 1:17-21

17 Then she said to him, “My lord, you swore by the Lord your God to your maidservant, saying, ‘Assuredly Solomon your son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne.’ 18 So now, look! Adonijah has become king; and now, my lord the king, you do not know about it. 19 He has sacrificed oxen and fattened cattle and sheep in abundance, and has invited all the sons of the king, Abiathar the priest, and Joab the commander of the army; but Solomon your servant he has not invited. 20 And as for you, my lord, O king, the eyes of all Israel are on you, that you should tell them who will sit on the throne of my lord the king after him. 21 Otherwise it will happen, when my lord the king rests with his fathers, that I and my son Solomon will be counted as offenders.”

There are more details about the story, but I wanted to bring out the significate part of the story pertaining to trusting in what the Lord your God has said with His own tongue.

It’s the HEART of a matter that moves God. The spirit of man is either the Holy Spirit or its another.

At the end of the day, despite the fact we deal with life energy trying to suck the very life out of you daily but the stolen life reservation last but a moment.

This is why the 10 brides waiting on the bridegroom, 5 of them asking the 5 who understood the heart of the matter was ready and prepared for the visitation never missed their moment and the other 5 had to leave and (they still didn’t get it) buy someone else’s oil to go forward missed their opportunity.

It is a heart of the moment with Moses, Ruth, Ester, Joseph, David, Solomon, Paul, and etc. It’s a heart of the matter at the end of the day and at the beginning of each morning.

God is the overseer of the heart, and He knows the heart and the mind of the Holy Spirit — working simultaneously.

Outwardly determines doesn’t determines the heart truth.  The Spiritual heart is eternal because Ecclesiastic 3:11 said that eternity has been placed in man’s hearts. Also, a perverse presenceS/spirit breaks the spirit anyway, so God—The All Knowing ain’t gonna use something so accessible to the enemy reach to be a sign of His brilliance.

He is brilliantly profound to House Himself in the Ark of the Covenant —heart of man— faithful attributes of actions and plans for His Sons Earth —is the Lord.

It is finished already and again it is finished already! It cannot be annulled.

It’s been a week that an American girl became a Princess. Six months prior her life changed dramatically after meeting a Prince.

I included my photo in this photo collage to make a point to many. That point is that your life has the opportunity to dramatically change over night without a yesterday notification.

Every morning that you are blessed to see another sunrise, is another level upward your life will expand to grow exponentially of possibilities yet not known the day before.

Hope, Faith and  an eagerness to live everyday with an expression of gratitude alongside with a heart to live given to change what your passion expresses unfair evidence of unequal constitutions.

If the goal is living, that is, to resemble heaven imagined, then our individual passions are persuaded by a place established in peace, love, kindness, joy, happiness, harmony and harvesting growth.

Faith is believing what is not yet seen with your natural eyes but has been revealed to your heart with your spiritual eyes.

Never give up on YOU. The process is building, creating and most of all, ensuring the sturdy foundation of the totality of that final product — Life In completion;  whatever that will be for an individual. It’s different for every soul.

History repeats itself.  In biblical writings in Genesis 15:13-14 says,

Then the LORD said to him, “Know for certain that for four hundred years your descendants will be strangers in a country not their own and that they will be enslaved and mistreated there. But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves, and afterward they will come out with great possessions.

In American history slavery for blacks began and ended in 1618 – 1865.

Slavery ended around the world in:

1807 – Britain passes Abolition of the Slave Trade Act, outlawing British Atlantic slave trade. – United States passes legislation banning the slave trade, effective from start of 1808. 1811 – Spain abolishes slavery, including in its colonies, though Cuba rejects ban and continues to deal in slaves.

In the year 2018 from the year 1618 is 400 years.  We are in the 400th year in our global nation.  Could this mean anything concerning a people?

It does mean something in biblical writings in genesis 15:13-14.  God sends Moses to get His nation so they could worship Him.  The ordeal according to the bible got kind of messy but Gods word was fulfilled.  He mentioned to Abraham that His nation would be in slavery but then released from harsh bondage.  You can read the story of it in Exodus.

Now, although history repeats its self, there came later in the lineage of Gods nation a man name Jesus who would be The Christ, here after, the same lineage said to crucify Him. Thus now, we are in a new type of freedom – the liberty of the mind that we as a people now have is freedom in the grace of Christ Jesus.  The Lord is now savior of the Church which is His body.

You can read more about this freedom in Paul writings starting with the book of Galatians. In the book of Galatians will explain the law and living by grace and love.

Be blessed.

I’m coming back from walking this morning. As I entered in the door, I ask God to speak and allow me to hear His voice.  I didn’t sit still long enough to hear but I pondered over Matthew 4:3-4

3 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”

4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

It is the 4 verse “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”  My question is, “How will you know what is proceeding from the mouth of God”? If God is spirit and the word is Jesus made flesh, we can assume they are operating together as one.  The Holy Spirit and the Word.  I remember Jesus said in John 14:9

9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.

It’s what Jesus said, The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority;  As I pondered on this I looked at the scripture again that says “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Another verse in John 14:7

“If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”

I’ve heard many times people speak about deception from religion.  Based on the verses provided, this will guide you to forsake deception every time.  Without the spirit the word of God is not productive.  Productivity is based on the soul of man salvation walking to magnify a soul in the direction in the Kingdom of God by grace and love.

Where He is there is freedom from the law.

Every now and then, I like to publicly announce my love for the Lord.  There are times where I face many anew being thrown at me but as a person I gotta stop and think about the why’s and align my life to one story line; the story that is giving to me from the divine.

Confidence and Compassion in Prayer ] Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

1 John 5:14-15

I ask for my life to be as one in Christ daily.  Although all things are in Christ anyway, I like to pray it in my communication with the Father.  It is very important to me that if I’ve placed anyone or anythings around me has placed themselves as an idol for it to be removed from its position.

My heart belongs to one and with that one He is the center of attention.  I listened to a pastor that said, where your attention settles is where your energy dwell.  I believe the enemy knows this and he continues distracting your focus daily.  Prayer align your life with the life of the Lord.  I’m going to leave you with this.  It is written in Revelation that in the throne room right now, angels and the 24 elders are serving and praising God.  His environment is filled with peace, praise, glory, honor, love, and all are focused on Yahweh.
